frequent flyer program...

Well if 10 visits get you the next visit free, then we are well on our way with hospital visits. Jack is still battling "it" whatever "it" is. On Friday, Jack had issues keeping his food down. After going Thursday night and all day Friday without keeping any food down, we decided on a doctor visit. So at 4:30 Sarah visited our Pediatrician in Hillsboro. After looking at Jack, the doctor decided it would be a good idea to send him to hospital for tests. Jack and Sarah ended up in the same room as last time, the upside is that this time they didn't require an ER visit or ambulance trip to get admitted.
On arrival, they found his pulse/ox in the 80s (it should be >95). They gave him an oxygen candela (probably the wrong word, but something like that), and he got to stay the night. This morning they took him off of the oxygen and he has been off all day. This time they are being more cautious on his release, so he is going to stay another night
. His pulse/ox is back to normal without oxygen, but it does dip into the 80s when he naps.

Needless to say I took the day off. Audrey and I did a couple visits to the hospital and also managed a visit to the children's museum as well.

Anyways, we expect Jack will come home tomorrow. Our pediatrician says that while Jack doesn't have RSV he probably has one of its cousins that they can't test for (aka a virus lung related cold). In the end we will just have to wait it out , but the wish is to get him more stable to recover at home.
